About

The title of the blog says it all. In this blog I will show what it’s like to live in a luxe Upper West Side apartment that’s under construction to be sold. I don’t want a palace. I don’t want perfection. I just wanted it to be painted, have the floors sanded, the bathtub reglazed, somethings brought up to code–I never knew they weren’t and some kinks worked out

The contractor’s wife ran off with her cousin. I am living in an unworked on construction zone. I am about to have the biggest breakdown ever seen in the blogosphere.

Though I’m horribly optimistic which is a problem in this country now, I just know it will be ready to be sold the day the last apartment to be sold in Manhattan is. I want what every sane Manhattanite who can does–to cash out, make enough money to buy something nice somewhere else and have money left over. I feel guilty for that as “subprime” was the word of 07.

I feel guilty for beginning this blog. It’s that or being committed so….
